Including bushcraft, survival skills and backwoods camping our sessions are designed to give you a practical, hands on experience and teach you how to be comfortable in the outdoors.

All our courses take place in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.
Group rates are available for 6 or more people.

Morning, Afternoon or Evening Sessions
from £40 to £50.

We offer full and half day courses that include a range of experiences and workshops.Activites that can be included;

• Fire lighting
• Wilderness and camp cooking
• Shelter building
• Trapping and fishing
• Game preparation
• Marine and woodland foraging

We can accomodate groups of all sizes; if there's anything you want to try, anything you want to learn, then just ask.

One or two day courses available from £80 to £150.

Our long courses run over one or two nights and include a range of experiences. Long courses can be static or can involve kayaking to remote islands, coasteering to collect spider crab and lobster or abseiling to gather Rock Samphire.

Some aspect of foraging or hunting is always included, our staff will show you how to find and collect fantastic food.

Dorset Bushcraft offer regular specialist skills courses, including;

• Hurdle making
• Coracle making
• Hand making bushcraft knives
• "All of the Animal", butchering and preserving meat, preparing hides
• Bow Making
• Gourmet backwoods cooking

Specialist courses are usually run for specific groups but we run several open courses a year, please ring for details.
