A half day session is 3 hours in duration, of which approximately 1.5 hours is spent in the water. All routes require a 20 minute walk to and from the coastline.

Minimum age for this activity is 12. You need to be reasonably fit and have confidence in the water.

You will need to bring a swimming costume to wear under your wetsuit, shorts to wear over your wetsuit and a pair of shoes with a reasonable sole.

Changing will be in the 'Great Outdoors' so be prepared with a towel. You will be asked to carry your equipment to and from the coastline.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they carry essential medical equipment such as inhalers, epipens etc. Please remove any jewelry and watches prior to the activity. Wetsuits, Buoyancy Aids and Helmets are provided.

All guides are trained in lifesaving and have completed extensive training on all local sites.

Land & Wave use a variety of sites along the Isle of Pubeck coastline. The meeting points for coasteering are at the following locations. You will be informed of your meeting point at the time of booking, this may be subject to change dependant on weather and tidal conditions.

For Worth Matravers our meeting point is the main car park, just up from the Square & Compass Pub. There is a voluntary donation of £1 for parking. Please be aware this can be extremely busy during the summer period. Please click here for a Google Map.
