Imaginative, Creative Marketing Intern / Graduate
We’re looking for a creative, imaginative, tenacious marketing intern to join our crew.
£21,600 a year | 40 hours a week | 28 days holiday a year.
6-12 month (initial) contract with the potential to extend.
You’ll be joining a great team of people, who all work really hard and care about what they do.

We’ve grown steadily over the last 12 years and need someone with lots of energy who can help us engage with new customers.
You’ll be part of a great marketing team – helping us produce loads of content, making sure campaigns stay on track, assisting with branding and social media and hosting events like open days, adventure festivals and community weekends.
The must haves…
A a marketing intern you must be kind, compassionate and positive.
Be a marketing/ business/ communications graduate or intern OR Have a huge enthusiasm for adventure and the great outdoors alongside some professional experience.
Be articulate and engaging.
Be comfortable talking to people on the phone, sending emails, writing copy and taking photos.
Excellent social skills – you’ll be talking to clients face-to-face, so you need to be warm and engaging.
Be imaginative and creative.
A driver’s license.
If you’re not hardworking, enthusiastic and energetic, then we’re not interested.
If you’re good at what you do we’ll reward and promote you.
The nice-to-haves…
Knowledge of Facebook ads / Google Ads
Video editing (Premier Pro or similar)
Adobe Photoshop and Canva skills
Experience planning and hosting events
Knowledge of CRM systems and lead management
Where and Why?
Land & Wave HQ is in Swanage. We help people have adventures all over Dorset and further afield.
We’re a sociable bunch and there’s always adventures to get involved in, our staff have access to all our equipment including our fleet of paddle boards and kayaks.
Almost all our staff live in Swanage or just across the water in Poole, lots of people cycle to work and there’s plenty of opportunity to share lifts on rainy days.
Land & Wave subsidise outdoor/ adventure clothing, equipment and training. A £250 wetsuit might cost you £90.
There are regular staff trips to mountains, rivers, crags and coastlines.
We’re still growing, it’s a great time to join the company.
