In this first look review, Jen and Lyndsay, talk about the Tempest 24 Women's Specific Rucksack from Osprey.

We've recently been given the chance to test out a few of the 2021 rucksacks from Osprey.

The Tempest 24 has been specifically designed for women.

Gone are the days of a rucksack that doesn't sit correctly on your back.

Here is what Jen and Lyndsay have to say about the Tempest 24 women's specific rucksack.

At the moment without the ability to travel far. I can't wait just to get out and walk with my little one.

Having a handy, comfortable pack which isn't too heavy but has plenty of space for all of the Mum essentials that a walk in the country needs is a must have.

And the Tempest 24 provides that.

The stand out features of this rucksack for me is the ease of access to some of the pockets while still wearing the bag.

The pockets on the waist belt are great for things like keys, phone and snacks that you want to access easily on a day out.

I also love the comfort and ease of adjustment for the days where you have multiple layers on, to the days where you are just in summer wear.

Over the last few weeks I have been able to trail both the Women's specific Tempest 24 and the Men’s specific Talon 26.

I was curious to see how different the designs were or if it was really just a 2 litre difference in size and a different range of colours available.

I was very pleasantly surprised that the Woman’s version wasn't a gimmick at all.

The back panel was a significantly different, shorter in the back which made it massively more comfortable for all walks.

As I am currently using it for low level adventures it seems to be perfect.

My only concern about this pack in the future would be how strong the material is as it is very light weight.

I am a little concerned it may rip easily but that is me trying to find fault in a pack I am very happy with.

To round up;

Jen thinks:

At the cost of £130 this is quite an expensive pack for what you get.

That being said it is very comfortable, lightweight and has a great range of features.

I think that it looks good and does what I need it to do.

Lyndsay thinks:

Overall the Osprey Tempest 24 W is a great rucksack.

The design and fit has been well thought through and really works for the body shape of female adventurers.

The multi-activity design makes the rucksack a great all rounder for those who work and play in the outdoors.
