Teacher (Outdoor Education) – Land & Wave – £25,000 + Bonus + Training Budget
Land & Wave need someone to teach on Outdoor Education and Outdoor Adventure BTEC courses.
The company is based in Swanage. Teaching will take place in Swanage, Wareham, Bournemouth and the great outdoors.
We expect this role to include two days of classroom based teaching, two days of leading students in outdoor activities and one day of planning and administration each week.
We’d like to employ someone that already has a good range of outdoor experience but if you have no outdoor qualifications we will train you.
You will need at least two years of teaching experience (since qualifying) and qualifications as described below.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS, DET)
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- D1 mini bus driving license
- Qualifications in outdoor pursuits
- Experience of outdoor education/ adventure sports
The starting salary will be £25,000 + Bonus
Land & Wave offers a quarterly equal profit share bonus to its staff. This will equal at least £2000 per year.
